Both halves of that sentence matter. One is what you get. The other is how we intend to still be here in ten years to support it.
What actually lasts.
The layers of an install do not wear out together. Containment and cabling outlive everything mounted on them; the head-end turns over once in a decade. Specify the long-lived layers properly and the expensive part of the job is done once.
This is why we will not run undersized cable to save a few hundred dollars on day one. It is the one layer you cannot upgrade without opening the ceiling again.

- 01 Net-zero commitment
- We are working toward net-zero emissions in how we operate. Replacing paper-based processes with software has cut waste and travel, and end-of-life hardware we remove goes to certified recyclers rather than to landfill.
- 02 Technology that evolves with you
- Systems are specified so they can be extended. Adding a camera, a door or a floor should not mean replacing what is already there, and it should not mean a new vendor either.
- 03 Designed for the building it is in
- A warehouse and a consulting suite have nothing in common except that both need to be secure. We design from the site, the construction and the way the space is used, not from a catalogue.
- 04 No vendor lock-in
- You own your system. Credentials, configurations and documentation are yours, and nothing we install stops working because a relationship ends.

We have spent years installing and maintaining other people’s security systems. Ironvex is ours.
It is a security and access control system built around what we kept wanting on site: equipment that keeps working when the internet does not, nothing that stops working because a subscription lapsed, and no vendor sitting between an owner and their own building.
