Sheet 07

Terms  of  service.

The terms that apply when you engage Gentex AU.

These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Gentex AU provides services. Your quote or service agreement takes precedence where it differs.
01

Scope of service

Gentex AU provides security system design and installation, access control, CCTV and AI detection, data cabling, server racks, networking, IT services, and certified data destruction and eWaste recycling, primarily across Melbourne and greater Victoria.

The information on this website is general in nature. Anything presented on this site, including service descriptions and capability statements, does not constitute a binding offer. Work is performed under a specific quote, proposal or service agreement agreed with you before commencement.

02

Quotes and payment terms

Each engagement is quoted individually based on site requirements.

Payment terms, including any deposit, milestones and the period in which invoices fall due, are set out in the quote and service agreement you accept before work begins. Changes to scope are quoted and agreed with you in writing before the extra work is done.

03

Certification and documentation

Data destruction services are performed to the service level selected in your engagement (basic wipe, certified secure wipe, or physical destruction) with the documentation described on our Data Destruction page for that level.

04

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gentex AU is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or from services performed, except as set out in your service agreement or as required by Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Any limitation of our liability, and the insurances we carry, are set out in your service agreement.

05

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
